This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction consists of a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and it is rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and uses a 10 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is mounted in a 215 JM frame with feet and is designed for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power. This motor meets Premium Efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit features a rear pull-out design and a top center-line discharge. It is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.86.
