This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. The pump uses a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and Viton rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250°F. This unit does not include a wear ring and provides pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump is powered by a 30 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 286T frame, operating at 1750 RPM. It uses a 230-460/60/3 power supply and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The assembly includes a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The motor supports across-the-line starting and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit operates in a 40°C ambient environment with counter-clockwise rotation and has a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
