This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 8" suction and 6" discharge ports matching ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250 °F. Standard pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections for monitoring. An AEGIS shaft grounding ring is integrated into the assembly.
The pump is driven by a 30 HP, 1750 RPM WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 286 T-frame. The electrical configuration supports 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power, and the motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The entire pump and motor assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and is protected by an OSHA with a Woods coupler. This unit maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.94 and is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment.
