This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 6" suction and a 5" discharge connection for ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable stainless steel shaft sleeve. The internal design incorporates a dry shaft construction to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. A mechanical seal is included, featuring a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly provides pressure tappings on the suction and discharge ports.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and uses a 40 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is housed in a 324 T-frame and operates on 230-460V/60Hz/3PH. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is secured to a welded structural steel base that features an integrated drip pan and a Woods flexible coupler with a standard guard. This configuration maintains a PEI value of 0.93.
