This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It uses a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve to maintain a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The casing is equipped with gauge ports at both the suction and discharge connections for pressure monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP Baldor premium efficiency motor in an ODP enclosure. The motor is a 326 T-frame size, configured for 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power with across the line starting. The unit includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 efficiency standards. The assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.93 and is configured for counter-clockwise rotation.
