This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. The pump uses a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. A mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber is included for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit incorporates a rear pullout design for field servicing and features flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is configured with a 5 HP Baldor motor. It utilizes an ODP enclosure with a drip cover and is mounted on a 184JM motor frame with feet. The unit operates on a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply and uses Across the Line starting. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment and maintains a PEI of 0.84.
