This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, a stainless steel shaft, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It houses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter impeller and a mechanical seal configured with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This assembly handles clean water at temperatures up to 250°F and utilizes a dry shaft design. The pump also includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, flush seal line taps, and an AEGIS shaft grounding ring.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 213 T frame. It connects to a 230-460/60/3 power supply with across the line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, and the pump has a DOE PEI of 0.88.
