This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a rear pullout design and a top center line discharge to simplify piping layouts. A dry shaft design prevents the pump shaft from contacting system fluid, while an integrated slip-on shaft sleeve facilitates field maintenance. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and the unit supports operating temperatures up to 250°F. Flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections are provided as standard.
This unit operates at 1150 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP WEG motor. The pump is configured with a 254 JM motor frame with feet and a TEFC enclosure. It utilizes a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. It is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and features counter-clockwise rotation.
