This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction port and a 2-1/2" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The nominal impeller diameter is 9-1/2". The pump utilizes a dry shaft design with a slip-on shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The unit is rated for fluid temperatures up to 250 °F. The rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration facilitates venting. Flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections are standard.
This pump is driven by a 50 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 324JM frame style with feet. It operates at 3450 RPM on a 230-460/60/3 power supply. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The assembly is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature and is configured for CCW rotation with across-the-line starting. The unit has a PEI value of 0.89.
