This base-mounted end suction pump is constructed with a class 30 cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The assembly integrates a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. This dry shaft mechanical seal design utilizes ceramic seat halves and EPT rubber, operating at a maximum pressure of 125 PSI.
The motor is a 7.5 HP premium efficiency TEFC model operating at 1750 RPM with Aegis shaft grounding, utilizing a power supply of 380-460V and 3PH, with a DOE PEI rating of 0.44. The "S" in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
