This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge, both with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a Ni-Resist seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. This unit allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping and includes pressure tappings at the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and features across the line starting. The motor is a T frame size 213, meets NEMA standards, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding and premium efficiency ratings per MG1-12.55. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and connects to the motor using a Woods coupler. This unit maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.88 and is suitable for 40°C ambient temperature environments.
