This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It incorporates a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable stainless steel shaft sleeve as part of the dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. This pump includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 40 HP, TEFC Baldor motor in a 324TS NEMA frame. The motor power requirement is 230-460/60/3 with across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It features a Woods coupler and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump maintains a PEI of 0.95 and is built to NEMA standards for 60Hz applications.
