This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The unit includes a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, paired with a bronze wear ring. The pump casing consists of cast iron. The shaft is stainless steel with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal utilizes a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for a maximum temperature of 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections for monitoring.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 40 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 324 T-Frame enclosure. The motor is configured for 380V, 60Hz, 3PH power and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a standard Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. The bearing frame utilizes greasable bearings. This unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.92 and is rated for a 50 °C ambient environment.
