This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 6-1/4" bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft and incorporates an easy-to-replace, slip-on shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps for filter installation and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, and the top centerline discharge configuration simplifies piping layouts.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 1-1/2 HP Baldor motor with a 145 JM frame style including feet. It features an ODP enclosure and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards for Super E premium efficiency. The electrical configuration uses a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with an across the line starting option. This unit is rated for 40°C ambient temperature and is configured for counter-clockwise rotation. The pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.85.
