This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction connection and a 6" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed in a cast iron casing. The pump includes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at 250°F. The casing is equipped with gauge ports for suction and discharge pressure monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 40 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 324 T frame. The unit is configured for a 380V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with an across the line starting option. It features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The assembly is mounted on a welded base including a drip pan and a Woods coupler guard. This configuration has a PEI value of 0.93 and supports a 40°C ambient temperature with CCW rotation.
