This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump casing and cover are constructed of cast iron, and it utilizes a bronze wear ring. A mechanical seal is installed, consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250 °F. The internal design includes a dry shaft to prevent contact with the circulating fluid and features flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections. The pump uses a rear pullout design and a top center line discharge configuration.
The pump is driven by a 30 HP Baldor Super E Premium Efficiency motor with a TEFC enclosure, operating at 1750 RPM. This motor is configured in a JM style frame with feet and is rated for 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power. The assembly meets NEMA standard requirements and operates at a 40 °C ambient temperature. This pump model is rated with a DOE PEI of 0.92 and uses an across-the-line starting configuration.
