This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge. The unit includes a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a bronze wear ring. The pump incorporates a mechanical seal assembly consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The construction features a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 3 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 182 T frame with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that features an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The pump utilizes a standard Woods coupler to connect the motor to a bearing frame equipped with greasable bearings. This model meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI of 0.94. The motor is rated for 40°C ambient conditions.
