This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes gauge ports at the suction and discharge connections, an integrally cast mounting foot, and pressure tappings. It also incorporates a self-flushing seal design with seal line taps.
The pump is driven by a 1 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor TEFC motor in a 143 T frame, configured for 230-460/60/3 PH power. This assembly features an across the line starting option and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded structural steel base with an integral drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This model meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a PEI of 0.85. The motor operates at a 40°C ambient temperature.
