This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 10" suction and 8" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring. The pump includes a stainless steel shaft, a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, and a mechanical seal constructed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact with the circulating fluid.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 125 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is housed in a NEMA 444 T-frame enclosure and is configured for 460/60/3 power. The assembly includes a welded base with a drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The motor is premium efficiency, meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards, and features an AEGIS SGR and an insulated bearing on the NDE. The bearing frame utilizes greasable bearings, and the unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.94.
