This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. The pump includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top centerline discharge simplifies piping layouts. Flush seal line taps are provided for optional filter installation.
This unit operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and no drip cover. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and utilizes across-the-line starting. The motor is built on a 213 JM frame style with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding.
