This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and an integrated bronze wear ring. The pump incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F. The casing is equipped with gauge ports at the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM using a 7-1/2 HP, 200V, 3PH WEG TEFC motor housed in a NEMA 213 T-Frame enclosure. It is configured with an across the line starting option, AEGIS shaft grounding, and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan. This assembly meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards with a DOE PEI value of 0.88 and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment.
