This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction port and a 3" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The unit incorporates a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. For fluid containment, it utilizes a mechanical seal featuring a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. This configuration is suitable for clean water applications and includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 20 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and NEMA 256T frame. The electrical configuration supports 230-460/60/3 PH power with an across the line starting option. It is mounted on a welded structural steel base equipped with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The assembly includes a Woods coupler and AEGIS shaft grounding. This unit meets NEMA standards for premium efficiency and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.91.
