This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a 10" nominal impeller diameter and ANSI Class 125 flanges without a wear ring. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. The unit employs a dry shaft design, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design and top center line discharge are provided to facilitate piping layouts and maintenance.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured with a JM frame style with feet, specifically NEMA frame 184, and operates on 230-460V/60/3PH power. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This pump assembly supports an ambient operating temperature of 40 °C and utilizes a standard CCW rotation. This configuration has a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
