This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 1-1/2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F. The pump casing includes pressure tappings for monitoring suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 3 HP WEG Premium Efficiency motor in a NEMA 182 frame. The motor features a TEFC enclosure, AEGIS shaft grounding, and is configured for 230/460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting. It is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. This equipment is EISA compliant with a PEI value of 0.90 and an HI Energy Rating of 14. The system is rated for a 40°C ambient environment.
