This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. The rotating assembly includes a stainless steel shaft, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a mechanical seal configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP, 380/60/3 TEFC WEG motor, NEMA frame 213T. It is configured for across the line starting and features AEGIS shaft grounding, with motor performance meeting MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a standard Woods coupler covered by a coupler guard. This configuration is designed for a 40°C ambient environment and carries a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
