This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 1-1/2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge connection. The unit uses a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. It includes a 9-1/2" bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly features a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 3 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 182 T-frame with an ODP enclosure. Electrical input is 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz, with across the line starting and AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards. The assembly sits on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It uses greasable bearings and a Woods coupler. This unit has a DOE PEI value of 0.86 and operates in a 40 °C ambient environment.
