This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge. The pump includes a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. It uses a 9-1/2" bronze impeller and a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The unit incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured with a 215 JM motor frame that includes mounting feet. The motor operates on 230-460V/60/3PH power and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. This unit includes AEGIS shaft grounding, a no drip cover, and a 40°C ambient rating. This model has a PEI value of 0.9 and utilizes an across the line starting configuration.
