This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft sleeve. It utilizes a rear pullout design and a dry shaft configuration that isolates the pump shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal is composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. This model also incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is configured with a 2 HP Baldor motor in a 145 JM frame style with feet and an ODP enclosure with a drip cover. It operates at 1750 RPM using a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and utilizes a counter-clockwise rotation. This unit has a DOE PEI value of 0.84.
