This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction connection and a 4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly includes a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for a maximum temperature of 250°F. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent circulating fluid from contacting the pump shaft.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor with a NEMA 256T frame and a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and features an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The pump uses a Woods flexible coupler to connect to a bearing frame equipped with greasable bearings. The unit has a PEI of 0.97.
