This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and includes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller with a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a Ni-Resist seat, carbon rotor, and Buna rubber components, rated for temperatures up to 225°F. Pressure tappings are provided on the suction and discharge connections, and the casing includes integrally cast mounting feet.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply and uses a NEMA 284T frame. It meets Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. This configuration has a PEI of 0.9 and is rated for an ambient temperature of 40°C.
