This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing that includes a bronze wear ring. It incorporates a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve with a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The casing is equipped with pressure tappings on the suction and discharge ports and includes flush seal line taps.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 3 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured for 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz operation with a 40°C ambient rating. It uses a 182 NEMA T-frame and meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards, including MG1-12.55 compliance and AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base featuring an integrated drip pan and a standard coupler guard protecting the Woods coupler. This equipment has a DOE PEI value of 0.88.
