This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP, WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 215 T frame. Power requirements are 230-460/60/3PH with a premium efficiency rating that meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The pump efficiency performance is defined by a PEI of 0.96.
