This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. The unit uses a stainless steel shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the system fluid and the pump shaft. A mechanical seal with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber is utilized for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump incorporates a rear pullout design for servicing, flush seal line taps, and integrated pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured with a 284 JM frame with feet and requires 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power. It meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and utilizes across-the-line starting. This unit achieves a DOE PEI of 0.94. The top centerline discharge design facilitates piping layouts and self-venting.
