This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a stainless steel impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft protected by a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal consisting of a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This configuration is rated for clean water temperatures up to 300°F. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 75 HP WEG TEFC motor in a 365TS NEMA frame. The electrical configuration includes a WYE Delta starting option, a 230-460/60/3 power supply, and AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and operates in a 40°C ambient temperature. The unit is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard for the Woods coupler. This pump has a pump efficiency index (PEI) of 0.95.
