This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction port and a 4" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disconnecting system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration assists in self-venting.
This pump is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, no drip cover, and a 256 JM frame with feet. It operates at 1150 RPM on a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The configuration uses an across-the-line starter for operation in 40°C ambient temperatures with a CCW rotation.
