This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze wear ring, and a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It incorporates a dry shaft design that utilizes a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump uses a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are included on both the suction and discharge connections.
This equipment operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 50 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is housed in a NEMA 326 T-frame and functions on 230-460/60/3PH power with an across-the-line starting option. The pump assembly features AEGIS shaft grounding and is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan. A Woods coupler connects the pump and motor, protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The system meets premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.92.
