This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal uses a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and allows for servicing without disrupting system piping.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting and a 40°C ambient rating. The motor uses a NEMA 324 T-frame and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring, a welded base with an integral drip pan, and a Woods coupler protected by a standard guard. This equipment is rated with a PEI value of 0.92.
