This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. The unit includes a dry shaft design, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 30 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 284TS frame. It is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and uses a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.91.
