This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges and bronze wear rings. The unit incorporates a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents the shaft from contacting the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration supports self-venting.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured with an across-the-line starting option and a JM style frame with feet. Electrical requirements are 230-460/60/3PH. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards. The unit operates at a 40°C ambient temperature with a counter-clockwise rotation. This pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.84.
