This base-mounted end suction pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and an integrally balanced bronze impeller. The design incorporates a dry shaft construction to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the stainless steel shaft. A replaceable bronze shaft sleeve protects the shaft assembly, while the mechanical seal utilizes a ceramic seat and EPT rubber components to operate at a maximum pressure of 125 PSI.
Powered by a 25 HP Premium Efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM, the assembly utilizes Aegis grounding and a 380-460V 3PH power supply, resulting in a DOE PEI rating of 0.48. The S in the SFI series denotes Taco’s advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
