This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It uses a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for a maximum temperature of 250°F. The unit includes ANSI Class 125 flanges and provides pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents circulating fluid from contacting the shaft.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 145T frame. It is configured for a 200V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply and utilizes across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan, a standard coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. This motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump system has a PEI value of 0.81.
