This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It uses a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft covered by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal features a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components, with an operating temperature rating up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 5 HP TEFC motor equipped with an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The motor is housed in a NEMA 184 frame, while the pump uses a size H power frame. Electrical input is 380/60/3 with across-the-line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a coupler guard. It is EISA compliant with a PEI value of 0.94 and an HI energy rating of 6, designed for a 40°C ambient environment.
