This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The design prevents fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal uses a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250°F. The pump includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections to facilitate maintenance and monitoring.
A 15 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 254T frame powers the unit at 3450 RPM. The system operates on 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz with across the line starting. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and features an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a guard. The assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and has a DOE PEI of 0.89.
