This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit includes bronze wear rings and flush seal line taps for filter installation. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge supports self-venting.
This pump is configured with a 7-1/2 HP, 1750 RPM TEFC Baldor motor in a 213 JM frame with feet. The motor is NEMA standard and operates on 230-460V/60/3PH power with across-the-line starting. It features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The motor is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature and CCW rotation. The assembly has a pump energy index (PEI) of 0.91.
