This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are included at both the suction and discharge connections to facilitate gauge installation.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 20 HP WEG motor. The motor is configured with a TEFC enclosure, a NEMA 256T frame, and is rated for a 380V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply. The assembly meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI of 0.92. The unit is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and a standard Woods coupler protected by a guard. The bearing frame is equipped with greasable bearings.
