This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, paired with a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and Viton rubber, with a temperature rating of 250 °F. It incorporates ANSI Class 125 flanges, flush seal line taps for particle filtration, and integrated pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing system piping, while the top centerline discharge configuration facilitates self-venting.
The unit is powered by a 3 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 182 JM frame style with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is configured for across-the-line starting with a 40 °C ambient rating. This pump is rated for a PEI of 0.93.
