This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The casing design includes integrated mounting feet and gauge ports at both the suction and discharge connections.
The unit is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 213 T-frame. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting configuration. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and features an OSHA-compliant coupler guard housing a Woods coupler. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards, complies with MG1-12.55, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This pump is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and has a DOE PEI of 0.92.
