This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features 6" suction and 5" discharge connections with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump design includes pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections, flush seal line taps, and a rear pullout assembly. The top center line discharge configuration supports self-venting and simplifies piping layouts. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the shaft and circulating fluid.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured for 380V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting. It uses a 256 JM motor frame style with feet and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The unit is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and features CCW rotation. It has a DOE PEI rating of 0.92.
