This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump has a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It features a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The design includes a dry shaft that prevents contact with the circulating fluid and flush seal line taps for external filter installation. A rear pullout configuration allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts and reduces strain. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. This unit does not include a wear ring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor Super E Premium Efficiency motor. The motor is configured with a TEFC enclosure, a JM frame style with feet, and meets MG1-12.55 efficiency standards. Electrical requirements are 230-460V/60/3PH at an ambient temperature of 40 °C. The pump uses an across-the-line starting option and includes a no drip cover. It maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.9.
