This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. The assembly utilizes a dry shaft design with a replaceable slip-on bronze shaft sleeve that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump is configured with flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and it utilizes a rear pullout design to facilitate maintenance without removing system piping.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor TEFC motor. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and features a NEMA 324 JM motor frame with feet. The motor is rated for premium efficiency, meets MG1-12.55 standards, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit features across-the-line starting and operates at a 40°C ambient temperature. This pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.94. The top center line discharge design assists in self-venting and reduces piping strain.
